Take Off Trim

Passenger's complaining because your taking to many runs down the runway before you get off the ground? Maybe someone can help you out here.

Does anyone have data on take off trim settings for the -300?

Hey Walt, have a look here and try using the weight and balance add on. Gives you some settings for that stuff if I remember correctly.

I recommend trimming it as far back in the takeoff range as possible. This provides a easy rotation and an excellent initial pitch for V2+10 to 15.

Hi,

also after some years back to the Dash8. Still a very good plane.

Just one question: In old times when the other forum existed, there was a solution for the very slow movement of the trim. I am not sure, but I think it was a mod in the aircraft.cnf file.

Can anybody help???

Thanks

Peter

I'm using the new Saitek Cessna Trim wheel with my Dash 8 and FSUIPC and it works perfectly. You can control the trim fast or slow with accuracy.
